Departmental Circuler No.279 (Commercial)

      For the purposes of statistical returns of energy sales the field officers should assume the following figures for the various sizes of pumps.

1 )	Upto and including 3 H.P	33 kWH/HP/month
2)	Above 3 H.P. & upto and  including 5.5 H.P	35 kWH/HP/month
3)	Above 5.5 H.P. and upto  and including 10 H.P.	37 kWH/H.P/month

     For new consumers connected after introduction of this tariffs for such consumers which may get permanently disconnected a pro- rata relief in the tariff during the first or last year respectively should be given on the basis of the actual no.of the remaining months of billing year.

     A copy of note circulated to the State Elecy. Consultative Council is also enclosed herewith. Field Officers should carefully study the various issuesthat led to the introduction of the tariff on H.P. basis and should clarify the Board's position to consumers and other local interests whenever called upon to do so and ensure that there is no misunderstanding.

Energy Dues On Monthly/Quartedy/Six Monthly Basis,

do exercise option to make the payment of ElectricityBill on monthly/quarterly/Six monthly basis and also accordingly agree to pay security deposit equivalent to 3 months consumption for monthly billing, 5 months consumption for quarterly billing and 8 months consumption for 6 monthly billing.

     Further I/We note that the option as exercised above cannot be changed within the period of 12 months from the date of option and can be changed by giving 30 days notice before 1 st October of each year.
